Locally Regular Graphs

چکیده
A graph G is called locally s-regular if the neighbourhood of each vertex of G induces a subgraph of G which is regular of degree s. We study graphs which are locally s-regular and simultaneously regular of degree r.

Locally 3-Arc-Transitive Regular Covers of Complete Bipartite Graphs
In this paper, locally 3-arc-transitive regular covers of complete bipartite graphs are studied, and results are obtained that apply to arbitrary covering transformation groups. In particular, methods are obtained for classifying the locally 3-arctransitive graphs with a prescribed covering transformation group, and these results are applied to classify the locally 3-arc-transitive regular cove...
متن کاملThe weak limit of Ising models on locally tree-like graphs
We consider the Ising model with inverse temperature β and without external field on sequences of graphs Gn which converge locally to the k-regular tree. We show that for such graphs the Ising measure locally weak converges to the symmetric mixture of the Ising model with + boundary conditions and the − boundary conditions on the k-regular tree with inverse temperature β. In the case where the ...
متن کاملOn the algorithmic complexity of decomposing graphs into regular/irregular structures
A locally irregular graph is a graph whose adjacent vertices have distinct degrees, a regular graph is a graph where each vertex has the same degree and a locally regular graph is a graph where for every two adjacent vertices u, v, their degrees are equal. In this paper, we investigate the set of all problems which are related to decomposition of graphs into regular, locally regular and/or loca...
متن کاملVariations on a theme by Weetman
We show for many strongly regular graphs ∆, and for all Taylor graphs ∆ except the hexagon, that locally ∆ graphs have bounded diameter.
متن کاملLocally Pseudo-Distance-Regular Graphs
The concept of local pseudo-distance-regularity, introduced in this paper, can be thought of as a natural generalization of distance-regularity for non-regular graphs. Intuitively speaking, such a concept is related to the regularity of graph 1 when it is seen from a given vertex. The price to be paid for speaking about a kind of distance-regularity in the non-regular case seems to be locality....
